Advantages of Applying PPF:
If you’re going to invest in a paint protection film to keep your new vehicle’s paint job and other parts in mint condition,
there are several advantages to consider.
While some PPF’s might improve the shine of your vehicle, my PPF is available in a gloss or matte finish. In fact,
if you have a high glossy paint job, you can apply Matte – to instantly create a brilliant and customized exterior look and appeal.
It’s common for some paint protection films to leave glue marks after the installation. Kavaca’s proprietary adhesive
does not leave these marks or create an orange peel finish.
Car paint protection films are infused with four layers of material, each of them providing roadblocks for
harmful contaminants or chemicals to penetrate. It also provides superior stain resistance and reduces paint damage due to stone chips.
Most of the top brands of car paint protection film have self-healing properties. This means, that minor scratches
can be fixed by a detailer, simply by applying direct heat – or with a blowing heat gun. It uses nanotechnology to
fill minor scratches within a few seconds.
This same nano-tech helps to provide a heat shield, which blocks UV and IR radiation from penetrating the vehicle's surface materials.
This unique feature keeps headlights from fogging or fading, which maintains your on-road visibility.
For any of PPF, it has a limited lifetime warranty from 3 years to 12 years.

Q. Can I cover the whole vehicle with Paint Protection Film?
A. Yes it can be applied to any painted surface. We have different, yet very similar, protection films for glass that can be installed as well.
Q. Can Paint Protection Film be removed?
A. Yes the film is not permanent and can be removed by peeling it off.
Q. Will Paint Protection Film harm the painted surface if the film is removed?
A. If the film is properly applied to a fully cured painted vehicle, it can be removed, usually in one piece, without damaging paint surfaces beneath the film.
Q. Does Paint Protection Film resist yellowing?
A. Yes, it resists yellowing because the film is constructed of thermoplastic urethane, a tough, conformable material that is covered by a clear coat layer. The film and clear coat layers contain UV protectants to counteract harmful ultraviolet rays that can cause yellowing.
Q. How is Paint Protection Film maintained?
A. Once applied, refrain from washing the vehicle for a few days. Washing after that time presents no problem. The film can be waxed as well to promote gloss and protection, however, do not use any that contain dyes or that are not recommended for urethanes. For the best protection against the film, we recommend ceramic coating.
Q. Can I put a ceramic coating over Paint Protection Film?
A. Yes we are a certified Ceramic Pro installer. Ceramic coating the PPF will extend the life of the film and enhance the hydrophobic effects.
Q. How long is the warranty on Scotchgard™ Pro Series Paint Protection Film?
A. 10 years.
